Dagmar Rosenberg, Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Dagmar Rosenberg was born and raised in Germany and educated at Yale University where she graduated with a BA Degree in Philosophy. Pastor Dagmar also attended Yale Divinity School and received her Master of Divinity Degree in 1986. She continued her education at Columbia University and California State University, Northridge.

Pastor Rosenberg loves to do God’s work in the urban ministry field and is grateful to all those volunteers who come forward to see that God’s children in the urban setting are welcomed and cared for.

When she was called to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Los Angeles, CA, Pastor Rosenberg functioned as Pastor to the congregation and also as Principal of the church-affiliated elementary school. During that time she also served on the board of Directors for Lutheran Schools. Before coming to First Lutheran, she served at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jericho, Vermont. While at Good Shepherd, she also worked as Director for the ecumenical Foodshelf and was elected as Dean of the Vermont/New York Conference.
